What we checked, and what we changed: Verified 19 Sep 2026 via Wayback Machine archive (snapshot 2026-06-09) of the live Business Victoria page, because direct automated access to business.vic.gov.au returned HTTP 403. CORRECTIONS: King's Birthday moved from the previously recorded 2 November 2026 (wrong — holiday-calendar.html error) to the correct 8 June 2026. Added Labour Day (9 March), Easter Saturday (4 April) and Melbourne Cup Day (3 November), none of which were previously in values.holidays. Removed the erroneous 'King's Birthday (VIC)' 2 November entry and the ANZAC Day substitute (Victoria has no substitute when ANZAC Day falls on a weekend). The 25 September holiday is officially named 'Friday before the AFL Grand Final' by Business Victoria, not 'AFL Grand Final Eve' (holiday-calendar.html) or 'AFL Grand Final Friday' (australian-public-holidays-2026.html) — closes C-VIC-05 with a third, official name.
