wa-2026in our public holiday dataset. Every date below is read from that record at build time.
What we checked, and what we changed: Verified 19 Sep 2026 directly from the live wa.gov.au public holidays table (2026-2027 columns, page states 'Last updated: 2 September 2026'). CORRECTION: King's Birthday moved from the previously recorded 22 June 2026 (wrong — holiday-calendar.html error) to the correct 28 September 2026 (fourth Monday in September, by proclamation). Added Labour Day (2 March), Western Australia Day (1 June) and the ANZAC Day additional public holiday (27 April, since 25 April 2026 falls on a Saturday). CONFIRMED ABSENT: WA has no Easter Saturday public holiday (closes C-WA-04 the other way — australian-public-holidays-2026.html was wrong to add it). Regional: City of Karratha and Town of Port Hedland observe an alternative King's Birthday holiday on 3 August 2026 instead of the statewide 28 September date; their 2027 alternative date is not yet published.
